Visit Kohat

Kohat -the land of lush green gardens, fertile, fields, springs, hills, and much more -is one of the most popular districts of the N.W.F.P province of Pakistan. A bird’s eye view of this ancient region reveals it is covered with hills and green fields. In these hills, clear-water springs are flowing since olden times. Delicious guavas of Kohat are found in the summer and winter seasons and are famous throughout the country.

Coming from Peshawar, you will reach through Indus Highway in 70 minutes and will go through Dara Adam Khel and the Kohat tunnel. Coming from Rawalpindi/Islamabad, takes two and a half hours on the way you will also cross the Khushal Garh bridge over the River Indus, which is the boundary of Kohat (N.W.F.P) and Attock (Punjab). Along with green fields, a Kohat Cement factory, flour mills, Kohat Cadet College, and many other famous places are located near Kohat on the road to Islamabad. Driving from Bannu, it takes two hours to reach Kohat, Lachi Town, and an I.T university rest on the hills near Kohat. All roads leading to Kohat are well constructed and metaled. In Hinko's poetry, the writer says about Kohat,
